“Tradition, pride, musicianship, diplomacy, class, beauty, grace…  the group embodies its rich culture, heritage and customs. Enjoy the experience! Awesome!”

Mariachi Pasion was formed in April 2002. The group itself started in a music class at Arizona State University. On a whim and with a whole lot of “GANAS”, eight girls thought it would be fun to play for a close relative… the rest is “HERSTORY”! The group has grown into a fifteen member group with the majority of musicians having worked their way through their education playing mariachi music!

The group has musicians that are educators, insurance agents, financial managers, health care professionals, marketing professionals, entrepreneurs, IT professionals, accountants and engineers. There are also several musicians currently working their way through Arizona State University.

The heart of Mariachi Pasion is the group chemistry and the common love and respect for mariachi music. Some of our clients include: former President of Mexico – Sr. Vicente Fox, Desert Botanical Gardens, Comedienne George Lopez, Phoenix Zoo, Calexico, Arizona Opera, various Bowl Game teams, Music Instrument Museum, Arizona State University, City of Thatcher,  Peace Corps, Sen. John McCain, City of Guadalupe, Phoenix Suns, Pro Bowl, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, City of Mesa, Crescent Ballroom, Arizona Heart Walk, Sylvestre Herrera, Arizona Diamondbacks, Make A Wish Foundation, Vee Quiva Casino, Edward James Olmos, Casino Arizona, Maricopa, Salt River, Pima - Indian Community and the Susan G.
